So with my first year nearly over I have been asked to make a contents post for my blog as well as talk about my portfolio and what I want to do next year.
Today I decided to further develop my 2D game, adding in a new level and refining some scripts
Today I started to complete the first level of my game as well as preparing some code for the assessment that is coming up.
So today we looked at using some code that could help us show off 3D Models that we have made by automatically rotating them for a good looking video/gif.
I was asked to implement features to a line of code using the dot products. I decided to make a ball that, displayed a message, grew in size, and played music.
Today I added in a cone of vision to my enemies and made it so that the game restarts if the player is shot or touches an enemy.
So today with my 2D game I developed the scene, added enemies with AI paths and made it so you can shoot.
In preparation for our game jam assessment we have been given the task to create a top down stealth game within unity.
Over the past couple of weeks I have been working in a simple 2D game to practise for the assessment.
So with my first try at my Next Gen portfolio out the way here is a post on my feedback and what I will do about it.
