After the MVP has been handed in I now have some more to talk abotu with regards to my team.
My next asset that I need to create for the Alley Noire environment is the scaffolding/ ladders and after spending a little bit of time messing around with it think i have what I want.
I have begun work on my assets and the first asset I needed to create was the building as this is the most repeatable object in the scene.
For the next environment which is a 1950's inspired black and white alley way I have started to create a blockout as I am group lead on this environment
This week was the week that our groups project MVP was due which basically means we have to of had a product ready for the start of next week.
Another model has now been completed for Dusty Ridge, this time is the old time western windmill.
One of the last things I need to do for Dusty Ridge Was a rocking chair and I have not posted about this model until now but it is textured and complete ready for the scene.
First of the Dusty ridge models to be textured is the rocks as I felt they would be an easy gatewway into getting the cartoon borderlands type texture.
These past two weeks I have been busy updating assets, doing research and for the most learning some new things about Maya and rigging. So here is my round up of the past two weeks, with a brief overview of my posts as well as some new things I have done.
This post outlines how we will be texturing our assets for the dusty ridge environment using a combination of old comic solid colours and borderlands design.
